Roger & Sally McConnell started Midwestern Meats in September of 1990. The idea was simply to bring the best meat products and quality service to the Southwest. Shipping in beef from Northwest Iowa was the key to the success of the business as it's the best in the country. Adding the personal service that Roger developed working for Fareway Grocery Stores his whole life, was the touch that propelled Midwestern Meats to the success it has today. The bakery and the restauant were added simply by requests of his customers.
